Chandi Homam
Chandi Homam is a profoundly powerful and high-intensity Vedic fire ritual dedicated to Sri Durga, performed with deep devotion and guided by the 700 verses of the Sri Devi Mahatmyam or Sri Durga Saptasati, a sacred text from Sri Markandeya Puranam.
Through offerings into the sacred fire, the ritual symbolizes the destruction of inner negativities—represented by demons slain by Goddess Durga. The chanting of 13 chapters with ‘Swaha’ mantras invokes divine protection, purification, and spiritual transformation.
