About Us

Sree Vijaya Ganapathi Cultural Center (SVGCC), a 501(c) nonprofit organization (EIN: 83-2629678), is dedicated to promoting Sanatana dharmic services and cultural enrichment for residents of Mountain House, Tracy, and the surrounding areas.

Located in a peaceful area near Mountain House/Tracy, this emerging temple is being developed to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of the local community with the support of a passionate team of volunteers.

Spiritual and Cultural Offerings

SVGCC offers a wide range of dharmic rituals at devotees’ homes, selected venues, or at the temple premises. The temple regularly hosts:

• Rudrabhishekam on Mondays.
• Shirdi Sai Baba Kakad Aarti, Abhishekam, Bhajan, and Shej Aarti on Thursdays.
• Group Satyanarayana Puja on every Poornima (Full Moon Night).
• Major festivals and vibrant cultural events, including classical dance performances, craft workshops such as Ganesha Idol-making, and spiritual discourses (Pravachanams).

Community Services

In addition to spiritual activities, SVGCC actively contributes to community welfare through:

• Free medical clinic every Thursday.
• Food collection drives to support the homeless and local food banks.

Vision for the Future

Plans are underway to construct a grand temple on two acres of land adjacent to the current structure.

The proposed temple will feature a magnificent marble idol of Shirdi Sai Baba and stone idols of Vijaya Ganapathi, Shiva Lingam, Chamundeshwari, Abhaya Hastha Hanuman, and other deities, creating a peaceful and devotional atmosphere for worship.
